Vegan or Vegetarian Mashed Potatoes

Essential Ingredient in a Vegetarian Thanksgiving

Mashed Potatoes

People used to eat mashed potatoes almost every day, if not at almost every meal, but they've mostly been replaced with fries.

Now, mashed potatoes are mainly served for holidays meals, with turkey and gravy. That's why we call our humble mashed potato recipe a holiday recipe!

  • Peel thorougly and rinse the potatoes
  • Cut in large chunks, place in a large pot and cover with cold water
  • Add a tsp of salt and bring to a boil
  • Simmer covered on low heat for 15 - 20 minutes, or until the potatoes can be easily pierced with a fork
